On the occasion of May 17, the annual LGBT-phobia awareness day, têtu published on Instagram a video report made during a Pride Day organized at the Jules Ferry Campus in Paris. The principle is simple: during various sports and cultural activities, supervised by the educational teams and association members, students are made aware of discrimination, respect for others, and living together. This is enough to make the hair stand on end of the far-right MEP Marion Maréchal, who was outraged by the presence at these workshops of the drag queen Minima Gesté.
“Drag queens in schools while 28% of students enter 6th grade without mastering the basics of French. This is where the left’s grip on the school leads,” accuses Marine Le Pen’s niece, concluding her tirade with the perennial line: “Our children need to read, write, count and know things, not be indoctrinated.” And there you have Minima Gesté and her sisters, atop their platform heels, responsible for the academic failure of a Jordan Bardella, for example, the president of the National Rally (RN) who has not managed to pass a single diploma after the baccalaureate.
