From the WorldPride Amsterdam slogan “Unity” to the “Solidarity” chosen for the Paris Pride march postponed to October 3, the Prides of 2026 invite us to stand together. Last year already, the Inter-LGBT misappropriated Marx and Engels: “Queers of all countries, unite.” Our era reminds us of an obvious truth: faced with those who attack our rights, we need one another.
On the cover of the previous issue, we had chosen another word to say it: “adelphes”. Several of you told us you had discovered it on that occasion. A sufficient reason to revisit it, as this term tells more than any other what links us. It is no accident that it opens this issue which brings together voices from Quebec to Belgium, passing through France, queers speaking with a common language, with its accents, its nuances and its inventions.
